Tioga County Council on the Arts is thrilled to announce a new collaborative art event called artfully SQUARED. Artfully SQUARED is open to creatives of all ages and skill levels. Here's how it works: use ANY medium to make a piece that measures 7" square, donate your artwork to Tioga County Council on the Arts (TCCA), and then come see the exhibition and buy original artwork for your walls! All artworks will be exhibited in TCCA's ArtSpace Gallery during the entire month of April and each piece will be available to purchase for $20. In addition to our regular weekly gallery hours, TCCA will be open 10 am - 5 pm on Saturdays for the whole month of April. There is no fee to enter and all proceeds will benefit the programs at Tioga County Council on the Arts . Submissions have already started coming in- we'll be sharing them here soon. Click here for a submission form. We can't wait to see what YOU make!

Open House!
Come celebrate with us! Tioga County Council on the Arts invites the public to an Open House at 179 Front St. to celebrate the restoration of our classroom space.
The downstairs classroom and storage area at the Arts Council was badly damaged in the 2012 flood, and, thanks to so many donors, the space has been remarkably renovated. We invite you to come tour our newly restored classroom and meet our new Executive Director, Abbey Hendrickson. You’ll also get the first look at our Spring workshop schedule, and enjoy an evening of live music by JFK, as well refreshments.

January exhibition...
We're getting ready for our January exhibition! Work by graffiti-inspired oil painter, Jim DeLucia, will be on display at Tioga County Council on the Arts (TCCA) for the entire month of January.
DeLucia works predominantly in oil paint on canvas and paper. His current work combines patterns, stencils and graffiti which act as an atmosphere to the central figure. Often, the subject is surrounded by blocks of muted color and subtle line work merging foreground and background.
Jim is a BFA graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport. He works from his studio in the Anderson Alley Complex in Rochester's historic Neighborhood of the Arts district. His work has been widely exhibited and Tioga County Council on the Arts is thrilled to be exhibiting his artwork next month. We'll be posting more images of Jim's work over the next few weeks.
ArtSpace Gallery at TCCA is open Monday-Friday, 10 am- 5 pm.
